    Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Volunteer Funding & Pitch Opportunities Coordinators to join our team. to help identify, track, and apply for diverse funding streams. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping our organization secure non-dilutive capital, fellowship support, and early-stage investments to scale our mission for our social enterprise business.

    This role is ideal for someone looking to build a portfolio in fundraising, grant writing, non-profit development, or venture philanthropy. Your expertise in proposal development, grant management, and strategic planning will drive impactful fundraising initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Research & Pipeline Development
    • Scan and identify upcoming pitch competitions, small business grants, fellowships, crowdfunding platforms, and angel investor networks aligned with our mission.
    • Maintain an organized Funding Tracker detailing eligibility criteria, deadlines, award amounts, and application requirements.
    1. Application & Proposal Writing
    • Draft and refine pitch decks, grant narratives, fellowship essays, and campaign copy tailored to specific funder guidelines.
    • Coordinate with internal team members to gather required metrics, budgets, and supporting documentation for submissions.
    1. Pitch Strategy & Campaign Support
    • Assist in crafting concise, compelling 1-minute to 5-minute pitch scripts for live competitions.
    • Help structure outline strategies for crowdfunding campaigns (e.g., Kickstarter, ioby, or Seed&Spark).

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Strong Writing & Storytelling: Ability to convey impact and mission clearly and concisely.
    • Resourcefulness: Skilled at using online databases, networking tools, and research techniques to discover niche opportunities.
    • Organization: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
    • Self-Motivated: Able to work independently in a remote environment.
    • (Bonus) Familiarity with platforms like OpenGrants, Submittable, Gust, or Hello Alice.
