Social Media Content Creator

Youth for Diabetes Awareness Association is seeking creative volunteers to help spread diabetes awareness through social media.

As a Social Media Content Creator, you will create engaging videos, graphics, reels, and educational posts for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Content may include diabetes awareness, healthy lifestyle tips, research updates, event promotions, volunteer opportunities, and YDAA initiatives.

This role offers creative freedom while helping educate thousands of people online.

Additional information is required during the application process for this position.

This is a flexible, long-term volunteer opportunity where you can contribute whenever your schedule allows and continue earning volunteer hours throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Create videos, graphics, or social media posts
• Share diabetes education and awareness
• Promote YDAA events and opportunities
• Follow current social media trends while maintaining educational accuracy

Once accepted, we'll let you know how many volunteer hours you'll earn for each piece you complete, and we can provide a verification letter for your hours if you need to submit them for a school, club, or scholarship requirement. You don't need any prior experience! A YDAA board member will be available to guide you, and we'll share detailed instructions along with examples of great work from other volunteers to help you get started.
