Virtual Foster

Not everyone can foster a dog in their home, but almost everyone can help a dog find their forever home!

Our new Virtual Foster Program gives you the chance to become one dog's biggest advocate online. While our foster families provide a safe place to land, you'll help provide something just as important: visibility! 👀

We'll connect you with your dog's foster family so you'll receive photos, videos, updates, and behind-the-scenes moments to share with your community. You don't need to meet your dog in person (unless you want to!) to help them find the family they've been waiting for.

As a Virtual Foster, you will help by:

🔹Sharing photos, videos, and updates

🔹 Posting on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Nextdoor, and community groups

🔹 Celebrating milestones and adoption updates

🔹 Encouraging others to share your dog's story

🔹 Directing interested adopters to RTU

Time Commitment: ~15-30 minutes a week

If you've ever wished you could foster but can't bring a dog into your home, this is a meaningful way to make a difference! You can become a Virtual Foster from anywhere, but those who live in the Bay Area are encouraged to apply!
